The Department of Social Relations (DSR) hosted its Annual Picnic at the serene Garden Centre Resort in Gazipur on November 21, 2025. The event brought together students of the BSS in Population and Public Health Sciences (PPHS) and the Master of Population, Reproductive Health, Gender and Development (MPRHGD) programs, along with faculty members and staff, for a refreshing day focused on relaxation, connection, and collective well-being.

The resort’s greenery and calm lakeside views offered a pleasant break from daily academic pressures. Throughout the day, participants took part in various activities including games, cultural performances, a raffle draw, and interactive sessions aimed at uplifting spirits and strengthening bonds within the department. Participants expressed that the event offered a sense of renewed energy, reinforcing the idea that moments such as these are essential for both personal and academic growth.
