The seminar titled "Social Etiquette" was organized by the Department of Social Relations (DSR) at East West University (EWU) for the freshman cohort of the Population and Public Health Sciences (PPHS) on February 18, 2024. The Nousher Ali lecture gallery (Room 126) on campus served as the venue for the event. The program's goal is to instruct students on the proper behavior expected at this level of higher education. It covered topics such as what to do and what not to do in the classroom and how to establish a healthy learning environment within the department and classroom. The talk was delivered by Rubayat Kabir, who is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Social Relations at East West University.

Professor and DSR chair Dr. Mobarak Hossain Khan also served as the event's program chair. He encouraged the students to participate in activities hosted by the department and to treat one another with integrity and respect. Senior Lecturer Dr. Marzia Zaman Sultana, Lecturer Md. Anwer Hossain, and Md. Mahmudul Hasan all participated in the discussion and provided the students with valuable advice.
