For the incoming freshmen of Population and Public Health Sciences (PPHS), the Department of Social Relations (DSR), East West University (EWU), organized a seminar on ‘Class Etiquette’ in the Razia Samad Lecture Gallery (Room 242) on campus on October 10, 2022. The program was created to educate students on the proper behavior expected at this level of higher education. It discussed topics such as what to do and what not to do in the classroom, as well as how to foster a positive atmosphere in both the classroom and the department as a whole. The talk was delivered by Rubayat Kabir, who is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Social Relations at East West University.

Additionally, Dr. Md. Mobarak Hossain Khan, Professor and Chairperson of DSR, presided over the event. He urged the students to be sincere, and as it was also World Mental Health Day, he made note of the significance of the day. Dr. Md. Sanaul Haque Mondal, Assistant Professor, along with Dr. Marzia Zaman Sultana, Senior Lecturer, and Md. Rezwan Siddiqui, Senior Lecturer, of the same department were also present in the session and gave the students some insightful advice.
