Workshop on Academic Research and Writing Conducted by Dr. Fakrul Alam
The Writing Centre, the Department of English, hosted a workshop on Thursday, December 26, 2024. Dr. Fakrul Alam, the eminent scholar and renowned professor, conducted an engaging session titled "Academic Research and Writing." Faculty members of the Department of English attended the workshop.
Dr. Alam, who has decades of research expertise and teaching experience, enlightened the attendees in an engrossing session. Dr. Alam spoke on the significance of research and writing for teachers and scholars in teaching profession. He shared few anecdotes, highlighting how crucial research is in academia, and discussed the steps and strategies involved in writing a research paper. The workshop, which lasted for 45 minutes, ended with questions from the attendees.
