Workshop on Legal Careers in Banks and NBFIs Concludes Successfully at East West University

The Department of Law at East West University recently organized a well-attended workshop titled “Career-Oriented Workshop on Legal Careers in Banks and NBFIs”, featuring Mr. Qazi Mahmudur Rahman, LLB, LLM, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, as the guest speaker. The session provided clear and practical insights into the diverse legal roles within banking and non-banking financial institutions, drawing participation from both students and faculty members across the department.

Mr. Rahman shared his extensive professional experience to illustrate career pathways, explain compliance and litigation responsibilities, and highlight the competencies essential for effective legal practice in financial institutions. The workshop combined concise presentations with real-world examples, successfully bridging theoretical learning with professional application.

An interactive Q&A session encouraged active student engagement and dialogue, followed by a certificate presentation ceremony and a group photograph to commemorate the occasion.
