East West University Law Clinic was truly honored to host Justice Md. Zakir Hossain, Ph.D., Hon’ble Judge of the High Court Division, Supreme Court of Bangladesh, at Law Clinic 6.0. His presence brought immense prestige and inspiration to all participants.

Justice Md. Zakir Hossain conducted two sessions on The Stages of a Civil Suit, covering key aspects such as the filing of a plaint, issuance of summons, the defendant’s appearance, written statements, mediation, and the framing of issues. He further elaborated on procedural steps under Section 30, including investigation, interrogatories, document production, and inspection. Additionally, he discussed peremptory hearings and post-trial remedies such as execution, appeals, revisions, reviews, and references.

The sessions were conducted using clinical legal education methods, providing students with an unforgettable opportunity to learn directly from a Supreme Court Justice.
