Department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University organized two days and three-nights long Field Trip from 22^nd December to 24^th December 2022 in Khagrachari, Sajek Valley. The main purpose of the Field Trip was to conduct research on “Information Seeking Behavior of Ethnic Minority Population in Bangladesh amid COVID-19”. Around 35 students of the department were assigned to collect data and conduct survey. The students were guided by the Chairperson Dr. Dilara Begum and others faculty members of the department. Admin officer also went to the trip. The students conducted interviews with the tribal groups gladly and successfully collected a large amount of data that would be used in the research. The students' field trip was highly beneficial for their next research projects, and the hands-on experience with field work has also had a significant impact on their minds. The pupils had the chance to sightsee while on the trip.
