Hossna Tasmia Monia, is a Lecturer of Department of Social Relations at East West University (EWU), Bangladesh. She graduated from Department of Population Sciences, University of Dhaka, securing 4th position and she completed her post graduation from the same discipline. She has worked as a lecturer at Department of Applied Health and Nutrition, RTM Al-Kabir Technical University, she has also worked as a research assistant at the BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health, Dhaka, Population Council and Department of Population Science.

 A passionate and enthusiastic academician and researcher from a multidisciplinary background in demography, population studies, public health, epidemiology, and related discipline. Willing to apply all the gained skills in academia, population research and development to create a sustainable world of equity.
