Kazi Nujhat Naila is a Lecturer of the Department of Social Relations at East West University (EWU), Bangladesh. She is an emerging academic and researcher with a keen focus on environmental health, urban planning, and public health. Currently, she is actively involved in research and teaching, with interests spanning climate change, urban policy, and disaster mitigation and environmental health. She completed her Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning (2022) and Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environment (2019) from the University of Dhaka, securing 4th position in both programs. Her academic achievements have earned her numerous accolades, including the Dean’s Award (2023) and the National Science and Technology Fellowship. Others include Shamsun Nahar Mahmud Trust Scholarship, university of Dhaka & Govt. Honors Scholarship (2019). Naila's research contributions are further supported by her proficiency in GIS, remote sensing, and statistical analysis. She is deeply committed to advancing knowledge in sustainable urban development and public health in Bangladesh and beyond.
