EWU Moot Court Team Reaches Semi-Finals in 5th PGCL SAARC International Moot Court Competition 2025
The Department of Law at East West University (EWU) proudly announces that its Moot Court Team has advanced to the 5th PGCL SAARC International Moot Court Competition 2025 semi-finals. This prestigious event, held online from March 27 to April 8, 2025, brought together law students from across the SAARC region, including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and Afghanistan.
The competition commenced with 24 participating teams in the preliminary rounds, followed by the quarter-final and semi-final stages. The EWU team, comprising Speakers K. M. Radhit Ahmed Snigdho, Afrin Sultana Anika, and Researcher Asif Rahman, demonstrated exceptional legal research, articulation, and advocacy throughout the rounds.
Under the expert guidance of Ms. Nur-A-Ariya Alam, Lecturer, Department of Law, EWU, the team received rigorous training and mentorship in preparation for the international competition. The department also extends its sincere thanks to Ms. Mashraba Naziat, Lecturer, Department of Law, EWU, for her invaluable feedback and support throughout the training phase.
This achievement highlights EWU’s continued presence and competitiveness on the international mooting stage, reflecting the dedication of its students and faculty to legal excellence.
