The Department of Information Studies organized a Guest Lecture on “Writing, Editing, Publishing”
The Department of Information Studies, East West University, organized a guest lecture on 9 August 2025 for the course titled Writing, Editing, Publishing (Course Code: INF 209). The session was conducted by Mr. Ahmed Imtiez Sabbir, Dubbing Director & Voice Artist at Deepto TV, who shared his professional insights and experiences with the students.
The course, instructed by Ms. Rumana Rahman, Senior Lecturer, Department of Information Studies, currently has 69 students across two sections, of which an impressive 65 attended the lecture.
The event was also graced by the presence of Mr. Abdur Rahman Sumon, Senior Lecturer, and Ms. Rezwana Raisa, Lecturer, from the Department of Information Studies. Their support and participation added to the significance of the session.
The lecture offered students valuable exposure to industry practices in writing, editing, and publishing, bridging academic learning with real-world applications.
