Achievement Details

The Department of Sociology's Senior Lecturer, Mr. Rasel Hussain, has recently been awarded a Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Policy from Lingnan University in Hong Kong. "INFORMATION ECONOMY, EMPLOYMENT VULNERABILITY AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW URBAN MARGINALITY: THE CASE OF BANGLADESH" is the title of his doctoral dissertation. It is worth mentioning that he was awarded the Prestigious Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) in 2020 from the University Grant Commission (UGC) of Hong Kong for his research.
