Achievement Details

We are delighted to share that Jannatul Ferdous, a distinguished alumna of the Sociology Department at East West University, is currently pursuing her MA in Sociology (2023–2025) at South Asian University, New Delhi, India. Jannatul has secured the second merit position from Bangladesh in her program and has been nominated for the prestigious SAARC India Silver Jubilee Scholarship (SJS).

The SJS Scholarship, awarded to outstanding students from SAARC countries, will be granted based on eligibility criteria set by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. This nomination highlights Jannatul's academic dedication and commitment, bringing pride to our department and university.
