Department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University organized an Orientation Ceremony for the newly admitted students of Summer-2018 batch on Thursday, 03 May, 2018.

The program was attended by Dr. Dilara Begum, Chairperson, Department of Information Studies and Library Management, Dr. Md. Mobarak Hossain Khan, Professor and Chairperson, Department of Social Relations and faculty members of the Department.

At the outset of the program, the honorable guests were welcomed with flower by the students of the Department. Then a short presentation was presented by the immediate senior students in front of the newly admitted students highlighting all the departmental and club activities in the previous academic sessions. After the presentation, Honorable Chairperson of Social Relations Dr. Md. Mobarak Hossain Khan delivered her inspiring and motivational speech towards the students. It was followed by the speech of Dr. Dilara Begum, Honorable Chairperson, Department of Information Studies and Library Management introducing the rules, regulations and facilities of the department as well as the University with newly admitted students. In her speech, she also introduced the faculty members of the department. Dr. Dilara Begum, emphasized on the future prospects of the Subject and concluded by immensely inspiring speech.

A group of students voluntarily participated in arranging the program from beginning till the end. The orientation ceremony successfully ended by serving refreshments and a short tour of campus for the newly admitted students.
