The Department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University arranged a seminar titled “Service Innovation in Academic Libraries: Value Co-Creation Perspective” on 26^th September 2018. The main purpose of the seminar was to make the students aware about the innovative services and modern trends in academic libraries both in narrow and broad aspects as well to form a strategy by enhancing value co-creation in recent technological developments, innovations and current issues. Dr. Md. Anwarul Islam, Associate Professor, Department of Information Science and Library Management, University of Dhaka graced the program by attending as Guest Speaker. He deeply emphasized on the change management system and user participation for the technological innovation through value co-creation in the academic libraries both in developing and developed countries. Dr. Dilara Begum, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University, extended her heartiest gratitude to Dr. Md. Anwarul Islam for embellishing the event with his kind presence.

Around seventy participants were actively participated at the seminar. The program became very much interactive when students stood up with their queries to the guest speaker at the ‘Question and Answer Session’. The seminar was concluded with the vote of thanks from the program chair Dr. Dilara Begum.
