Seminar on Access to Information: Moving towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
EWU Library in collaboration with Department of Information Studies and Library Management organized a Seminar titled "Access to Information: Moving towards sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)". Dr. Wan Ab Kadir Wan Dollah, Associate Professor, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Selangor, Malaysia was present as Keynote Speaker. Dr. Md. Anwarul Islam, Associate Professor, Department of Information Science and Library Management, University of Dhaka and Abu Baker bin Suleiman, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Information Management, University Teknolgi MARA, Malaysia were present as Special Guests. The program was Chaired by Dr. Dilara Begum, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University. After the seminar an interactive session with the graduate students of the department was also organized regarding their higher education in Malaysia.
The seminar will be held on 06 February 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at East-West University Library Reserve Section (Annex).
