Research Seminar organized for the students of the department of Information Studies and Library Management
A research seminar was organized for the students who have taken “Research Monograph” for the partial fulfillment of the BSS degree, from the department of Information Studies and Library Management. The Seminar was held on 15 December 2019, were 16 students defended their research monographs in front of the judges, respective supervisors and students from other semesters.
Dr. Rafiqul Huda Chaudhury, Member, Board of Trustees, East West University attended the seminar to encourage the students. Dr. Md. Roknuzzaman, Professor, department of Information Science and Library Management, University of Dhaka was invited as an external and judge of the seminar. Dr. Dilara Begum, Associate Professor and Chairperson, department of Information Studies and Library Management was also present along with other faculty members of the department.
The research seminar was a fruitful initiative taken by the department for appraising and evaluating the research monographs of the students.
Academic offerings include 95 majors, 86 minors, and more than 100 in-major specializations and more than 100 in-major specializations
