Department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University organized an Orientation Ceremony for the newly admitted students of Spring 2017 batch on Thursday, 5 January, 2017.

The program was attended by Dr. Fouzia Mannan, Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Dr. Dilara Begum, Chairperson, Department of Information Studies and Library Management, and faculty members of the Department.

At the outset of the program a wonderful presentation arranged by the senior students of the Department. The presentation highlighted all the departmental and club activities in the previous academic sessions. After the presentation Honorable Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences welcomed and delivered her inspiring and motivational speech towards the students. It was followed by the speech of Dr. Dilara Begum, Chairperson, Department of Information Studies and Library Management introducing the rules, regulations and facilities of the department as well as the University with newly admitted students. In her speech she also introduced the Faculty Members of the department. Dr. Dilara Begum, emphasized on the future prospects of the Subject and concluded by immensely inspiring speech.

A group of student voluntarily participated in arranging the program from beginning till the end. The orientation ceremony successfully ended by serving campus visit for the newly admitted students.
