National Library Day 2019 observed by the Department of Information Studies and Library Management
The Department of Information Studies and Library Management observed National Library day 2019 on 5 February at Public Library premises along with other institutions. The faculty members and students of the department participated at the vivid and colorful rally. `National Library Day` celebrated throughout the country for the second time today with the theme “Read books in libraries, make enlightened people”. On 30th October, 2017, the government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh approved February 5 as National Library Day to highlight the importance of books, reading, and libraries in the day to day live of the people.
Academic offerings include 95 majors, 86 minors, and more than 100 in-major specializations and more than 100 in-major specializations
