ISLM Chairperson attends an International Workshop
Dr. Dilara Begum, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University was invited as the Guest of Honour at the inauguration session of three-day UNESCO Supported Youth Capacity Building Workshop on Media and Information Literacy organized at Senate Hall, Punjabi University, Patiala (Punjab), India from 17-19 October 2016.
The workshop was organized by Media and Information Literacy University Network of India (MILUNI) and Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha Library Punjabi University, Patiala and coordinated by Professor Dr. Jaghtar Singh, Department of Library and Information Science, Punjabi University, Patiala. Dr. Dilara Begum delivered a speech on Media and Information Literacy at the program towards the participants and guests of the inaugural program.
Academic offerings include 95 majors, 86 minors, and more than 100 in-major specializations and more than 100 in-major specializations
