Freshers’ Reception for Fall-2016 at the Department of Information Studies and Library Management
On the evening of 1st October, 2016 the Department of Information Studies and Library Management arranged a Freshers’ Reception for the students of Fall-2016 batch to welcome the newly admitted students of the Department. It was a small get together organized by the senior students of the department to welcome and embrace their successors with love and warmth.
The Chairperson Dr. Dilara Begum along with other Faculty members were also present at the program. The program was divided into segments that included an introduction and experience sharing session, games and cultural activities performed by the senior as well as the new students. The program was an initiative to bring closeness among each and every student in the Department. The students not only got to know each other, but also had a wonderful and joyous evening full of fun and memories.
Academic offerings include 95 majors, 86 minors, and more than 100 in-major specializations and more than 100 in-major specializations
