EWUIC greeted the newly enrolled students of Fall’ 18
“Who is this that comes into my heart this autumn day?
Sing your songs of joy, my soul, sing them today.
Look happily upon the face of the one, who has come
As you go with them, forsaking your home.”
On a nice autumn evening of 4th October 2018 East West University Information Club (EWUIC) along with the Department of Information Studies and Library Management organized a Freshers’ Reception Program to welcome the newly enrolled students of Fall-2018. It is a get together program through which newly admitted students can know their department, senior students and teachers in a friendly way. Senior students of the department and EWUIC committee jointly organized this program to welcome the fresher with immense love and affection.
The evening dazzled with the presence of Department Chairperson Dr. Dilara Begum, along with other Faculty members. The program was segmented in three parts, introduction and experience sharing session, games and cultural events performed by senior and new students. The aim of this program was to create a strong bonding among the new students and senior students, and simultaneously informing about the departmental activities. This mesmerizing evening was full of joy and memories that might remain forever in the hearts of new students as it was their first program of university life.
Academic offerings include 95 majors, 86 minors, and more than 100 in-major specializations and more than 100 in-major specializations
