Department of ISLM Arranged a Seminar on Data Science
Department of Information Studies and Library Management (ISLM) of East West University (EWU) organized a seminar on “Data Science: A New Era of Opportunities and Challenges for the Information Professionals in Bangladesh” on 22 October 2018 at the S. M. Nousher Ali Lecture Gallery, EWU campus, Aftabnagar, Dhaka.
The Guest Speaker of the seminar was Mr. Mohammad Sharif ul Islam, Assistant Professor, Department of Information Science and Library Management, University of Dhaka. Dr. Fouzia Mannan, Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, EWU was the Chief Guest of the seminar.
Dr. Dilara Begum, Associate Professor, and Chairperson, Department of ISLM, EWU was the program chair on the occasion. A numerical number of students, faculty members and officials of EWU have attended the seminar.
Academic offerings include 95 majors, 86 minors, and more than 100 in-major specializations and more than 100 in-major specializations
