Department of Information Studies and Library Management embraced its new students through “Fresher’s Orientation Program”
Department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University conducted the welcome and orientation program for the newly admitted students of summer 2016 batch on Thursday 8 May, 2016. The fresh students were welcomed and oriented at the program. Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin Chairperson, Board of Trustees and Founder Vice Chancellor, East West University, Professor Dr. M. M. Shahidul Hassan, Vice Chancellor, East West University, Dr. LutfunNahar, Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences attended and delivered inspiring and motivating speech towards the students. Dr. Dilara Begum, chairperson, Department of Information Studies and Library Management presided over the orientation program. At the very outset, the students of second semester gave a presentation reflecting department’s activities in the spring-2016. The chair of the program Dr. Dilara Begum, gave a brief orientation with rules, regulations and facilities of East West University and the department as well as the future prospects of this subject to the students. Thirty-Three (33) newly admitted students along with their parents, faculty member of Department of Information Studies and Library Management attended the program.
