Professor Dr. Dilara Begum, Chairperson, Department of Information Studies, East West University, was invited as a speaker at the Global Library Summit 2025 under the theme "Library Diplomacy: Uniting Nations through Library Cooperation" organized by the South Asian University (SAU), Delhi in collaboration with LIS Academy, Bangalore, India. This summit was held at South Asian University from 05 to 07 February  2025. The title of her invited talk was "AI in Academia: Perceptions of Undergraduate Students in Bangladesh." Dr. Dilara Begum emphasized the students’ perceptions of using AI in academic activities.
