On 24^th August 2025, Professor Dr. Dilara Begum, Chairperson of the Department of Information Studies, East West University, was invited to deliver a Guest Lecture at Bangladesh National Scientific and Technical Documentation Center (BANSDOC) under the Ministry of Science and Technology. The title of her invited talk was “Evolving Roles of Libraries and Librarians to meet the 21st Century Challenges”. Professor Dr. Dilara highlighted the skills and competencies of the young professionals required to meet the evolving challenges in the technological era. She also encouraged the students to work on enhancing their skills and capabilities to build a dynamic career in the field of information studies. The guest lecture was organized for the internship students of the Institute of Information Science, Noakhali Science and Technology University.
