The Department of Information Studies at East West University (EWU), in collaboration with the Socio-Psyche Counselling Center, successfully organized an engaging seminar titled “Young Minds and Campus Life” on 16 August 2026 at the S.M. Nousher Ali Lecture Gallery (Room 126).

The event was graced by the kind presence of Professor Shams Rahman, Honorable Vice Chancellor, East West University. Also, the seminar was chaired by Professor Dr. Dilara Begum, Chairperson of the department of Information Studies, who shared her valuable insight.

The seminar featured our guest Dr. Jyotirmoy Samajder (MD, PDM), who joined the session all the way from Kolkata as the keynote speaker. Dr. Samajder shared deep insights into navigating the psychological and social dynamics of university life. The session turned out to be highly interactive, with students enthusiastically participating, asking questions, and engaging in open discussions throughout the program.

Overall, the seminar proved to be a deeply meaningful and enriching experience for the attending students, equipping them with practical perspectives to foster mental well-being alongside their academic pursuits.
