The department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University has organized a virtual Alumni meeting with the graduated students of the department on 5 April 2021. The meeting was attended by 35 alumni students of different batches. Few of the alumni joined the virtual meeting from United Kingdom where they are pursuing their Master’s Program. Besides, the meeting was attended by the faculty members and Chairperson Dr. Dilara Begum. The graduate students shared their plans regarding their academic careers. Some of the students were fresh graduates who were seeking information related to Master’s Program in this field. The alumni who are presently pursuing their master’s degrees in some renowned universities in UK provided information related to preparation, funding, and living expenses etc.

The Chairperson, Dr. Dilara Begum shaded light on how to remain in the track after graduation and utilize the time to their best. Dr. Dilara Begum also mentioned how to increase their soft skills and engage in more co-curricular activities as these are some essential requirements for admission at the higher studies. She explained the process of choosing universities and encouraged looking for scholarships. The Chairperson and other faculty members of the department shared their academic and professional experiences to motivate the students.
