Hello, this is Khadizatul Kobra. I developed a passion for storytelling from an early age, especially fascinated with the ability of literary works to enable its readers to experience worlds significantly different from the ones they inhabit. I am a lecturer in the Department of English, East West University. I have a B.A. in English Language and Literature and a M.A. degree in English Literature from the Department of English, University of Dhaka. Currently I am pursuing an M.Phil. with the same department. As a committed Lecturer with varied interests in the fields of literary analysis, postcolonial studies, psychoanalysis and second language acquisition, I believe a learner-centered classroom environment of supervised exploration to be the most conducive to learning. My motto is to foster creativity and critical thinking skills in students in order to empower them to explore the bounds of their developing skills and face real life situations head on.

My research interests are rooted in literary analysis, postcolonial studies, trauma studies, psychoanalysis, ecocriticism, and second language acquisition. I am especially interested in exploring the complex intersections of identity, trauma, and ecology, examining how these critical lenses can shed light on both literary texts and pedagogical practices in contemporary classrooms.
