Mr. Imran Jahan Digonto is a Lecturer at the Department of English, East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has received a Master of Arts degree in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching (ELT) from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) with a CGPA of 4.00 on a scale of 4.00, graduating top of his class and a Summa Cum Laude. He was the recipient of the Academic Excellence Award in the Graduate Program (Top Achievers Award) at the 26th Convocation of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language Teaching, with a minor in Environmental Management, from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), graduating top of his class and a Magna Cum Laude. He has also received a second master's degree in Development Studies from Independent University, Bangladesh, graduating Cum Laude. His research interests include Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching (ELT), Ecolinguistics, Education and Development, Pedagogy, and Rhetoric. Besides being an academic for over a decade, he is also actively engaged in social service and entrepreneurship.
