Program on Culinary Literacy

The Department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University strives to make students academically and personally. They organize various types of programs under the active guidance of the department's Chairperson. During this lock down periods, the department is taking many of measures to alleviate students’ stress. The department hosted a “Cooking Show” to teach something to students as well as joy on July 30, 2021. On the program, Fatema Akter Falguni, undergraduate student, Department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University made “Sponge Cake” and she shared a number of hidden cake-recipe tricks. After cooking there were a Q/A session where the host asked question regarding the process of sponge cake making. At the end of the show, on the request of the students, honorable chairperson of the department, Dr. Dilara Begum made a dish. There were also a “Food Literacy Quiz” and singing. All the faculty members, admin staff, alumni and undergraduate students of the department attended the program.
