The Orientation Program for the newly admitted students of Spring 2021 semester was organized by the Department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University on 20 February 2021. A central orientation program was held by East West University after which the department organized its own program for their freshers along with the department Chairperson and Associate Professor Dr. Dilara Begum, other faculty members and current students. At the onset of the program two current students shared their experience regarding their journey at this department. One of them is an International Student from Bhutan who has been enrolled in the last semester only. It is worth mentioning here that along with national students three other International Students have been admitted to this department for Spring 2021 semester. Dr. Dilara Begum Associate Professor and Chairperson in her speech briefed about the EWU policy and guidelines, academic necessities and also introduced the department’s Faculty Members. She also extent her warm welcome and congratulated the newly enrolled students for joining this department. She assured her kind support in every aspect of their journey with this department. The orientation program was attended by more than 40 participants via Google Meet platform.
