Department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University planned a new webinar series. One webinar in this series was held on 7^th August, 2021 on the topics of “তরুণ পেশাজীবীদের ভাবনায় তথ্য পেশা”. The webinar brought together three young information professionals as speakers from the different sectors of the field of Information Science. The speakers were Md. Al Mamun Hawladar, Librarian, District Government Public Library, Gopalganj, Bangladesh, Lupu Rahman, Librarian, National Academy of Agricultural Training, Gazipur Bangladesh and Md. Shahriar Kabir Antar, Assistant Director, Research Department, Bangladesh Bank. Honorable Dr. Dilara Begum, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of Information Studies and Library Management, East West University was presented as program chair. Respectable faculty members, students, alumni, admin staff of the organizing department as well as students and information professionals from others organizations joined the webinar to hear insights from the young professionals who shared their views on scope, opportunities and way of getting lucrative job of the field of Information Studies. Current students and alumni of the department were benefited from the ideas and suggestions of the highly motivated and committed young professionals. The webinar played an important role in motivating the participants about the information professions.
