The Department of Information Studies, East West University successfully organized a seminar titled "The Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Students’ Academic Behavior" on 8 January 2025 at the S. M. Nousher Ali Lecture Gallery. Dr. Sanaul Haque, Post-doctoral Researcher, Software Engineering, LUT School of Engineering Sciences, Finland delivered the keynote speech on the mentioned topic. In his speech Dr. Haque discussed different generative AI tools that can help the students in their academic journey. He also emphasized the ethical considerations of using AI in academic writing. Among other guests Professor Dr. Mohammad Ashik Mosaddik, Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor, East West University graced the seminar with his presence. Professor Dr. Dilara Begum, Chairperson of the department of Information Studies, chaired the seminar. Faculty members, information professionals and students from different departments of East West University are also present in the seminar.
