A day long picnic was arranged by the department of Information Studies, East West University on February 28, 2025. Around 50 participants joined the trip including current students, alumni and the faculty members.

The reason behind this excursion was to rebuild the bond among the students of the department, exploring e new place, reducing the monotonous environment and take pleasure in learning outside of the classroom. The trip indeed had a positive effect on the minds of the students. The excursion program includes a diversified set of activities like cricket tournament, fun games, cultural events, small souvenir giving to the newcomer students, and raffle draw. The students thoroughly enjoyed all the events. Students’ spontaneous participation made the event a grand success.
