On 2 July 2026, faculty members of the Department of Sociology, East West University, presented the findings of their BIAM-funded research project, "Managing Occupational Stress and Promoting Well-Being Among BCS (Administration) Cadre Officers in Bangladesh: Policy Implications for Sustainable Administrative Efficiency," at the Final Dissemination Workshop held at the BIAM Foundation Conference Room.

The research project was conducted by Mr. Helal Uddin (Senior Lecturer), Dr. Anisur Rahman Khan (Associate Professor), Dr. Rasel Hussain (Assistant Professor), and Ruma Parvin (Senior Lecturer). The study explores occupational stress, well-being, and policy strategies to enhance sustainable administrative efficiency among BCS (Administration) cadre officers in Bangladesh.

The research findings were highly appreciated by the discussant, session chair, participating academicians, and administrative officers. They expressed that the study provides an important baseline for future research in this field and has strong potential to inform evidence-based policy formulation for improving the well-being and effectiveness of Bangladesh's civil service.
