Dr. Anisur Rahman Khan, Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at East West University, delivered an invited lecture titled “Framework of Community Enquiry: Rural Systems, Institutions and Livelihoods” at the 80th Foundation Training Course of the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) on 5 March 2026.

In his lecture, Dr. Khan discussed the role of civil servants as both researchers and interventionists in conducting community enquiries to better understand rural social systems, institutions, and livelihood strategies in Bangladesh.

The session was attended by over 400 young civil servants from different cadres participating in the training program.
