EWU Sociology Faculty Conduct Research Methodology Training at Bangladesh Liberation War Museum
Four faculty members from the Department of Sociology, East West University, recently conducted sessions in a month-long Research Methodology Training Course organized by the Bangladesh Liberation War Museum, Dhaka.
Dr. Mumita Tanjeela, Associate Professor, and Dr. Rasel Hussain, Assistant Professor, facilitated two sessions on Qualitative Research Methods: Data Collection & Data Analysis held on 14 and 15 November 2025.
Mr. Helal Uddin, Senior Lecturer, and Ms. Ruma Parvin, Lecturer, conducted two sessions on Quantitative Research: Research Design, Data Collection, Processing, Analysis & Use of Statistical Software on 31 October and 1 November 2025.
The training course was designed for final-year undergraduate students, master’s students, and early-career researchers. All sessions offered hands-on learning opportunities and engaged participants in critical discussions on qualitative and quantitative data collection strategies and analytical techniques.
At the conclusion of the program, the course coordinator expressed appreciation to the Department of Sociology, EWU, for its valuable academic contribution to the successful delivery of the training.
