The Department of Sociology, East West University, is pleased to announce the formation of its first Alumni Committee for the 2026–2027 term, established on 17 January 2026.

Faculty members and alumni gathered for this inaugural meeting with the shared goal of building a strong and connected sociology community. The initiative marks an important step toward strengthening relationships among alumni, current students, and the university.

The primary aim of the Alumni Committee is to serve as a bridge between alumni, students, and the department, fostering academic collaboration, mentorship opportunities, and professional networking. Through this platform, the Department seeks to nurture a vibrant and supportive sociology family that contributes to both academic excellence and career development.
