Students have secured merit positions with scholarships for admission to the MA in Sociology program through a competitive assessment for the academic year 2024-2026 at South Asian University, New Delhi, India. The students are Khaingnoe Ching (1st Merit Position), Abdullah Al Nahian (2nd Merit Position), Imtiaz Ahmed Siddik (3rd Merit Position), Jobeda Akter Rini (4th Merit Position), and Nur A Habiba Mukta (10th Merit Position).

Nur A. Habiba Mukta has also been awarded the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Masters Scholarship in "Public Health in Disasters" for the 2024-2026 session, sponsored by the European Union.

Likewise, Azmain Tanjim has secured fully funded admission with a Graduate Teaching Assistantship in the Master’s program in Sociology at Western Michigan University (WMU), United States. of America for Fall 2024. 

Ariz-Un-Elma has been admitted to the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand for an MA program in "Development and Sustainability" with the AIT Scholarship for the 2024-2026 academic year.

The achievements validate the quality of the teaching and learning environment at EWU, reflecting the excellent guidance provided by faculty members and the support from the Sociology department. I am very thankful to the EWU authority for their continuous support and recognition of the importance of sociological knowledge in today's rapidly changing society.
