Department of Information Studies, East West University organized an inter-department badminton tournament on November 22 and November 24, 2024 on its university premises. Around 50 students participated in 4 different categories as in Boys Doubles, Girls Doubles, Boys Singles, and Mixed Doubles. The first round took place on Friday, November 22, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, while the final round and prize distribution took place on November 24 from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. On both days, distinguished faculty members, students from various batches, an administrative officer, and respected Dr. Dilara Begum, professor and chairperson of Department of Information Studies, were present. Professor Dr. Mohammad Ashik Mosaddik, Pro-Vice Chancellor, East West University was present at the prize giving ceremony as Chief guest. The Department of Social Relations' Chairperson Professor, Honorable Dr. Md. Mobarak Hossain Khan, was also in attendance at the ceremony. Medals were given to all registered participants and crests were given to the winners.
