Md. Nazmul Hasan is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Information Science and Library Management at University of Rajshahi. He served as the Chairman of the Department from 2008 to 2011. Academically, he holds a Joint Master’s Degree awarded through the European Union's prestigious Erasmus Mundus Programme. Furthermore, he achieved First Class First Position in his BSS (Honors) program and First Class Second Position in his MSS (Thesis), both from Information Science and Library Management at University of Rajshahi.

"Assessing the Perception of University Students on Mobile Information Literacy" (April 2025): This article evaluates how university students perceive mobile information literacy, specifically their ability to identify credible information and their use of mobile technology for academic purposes.
"Promoting Health Information Literacy (HIL) in Rural Communities of Bangladesh for Attaining SDGs: A Collaborative Approach" (February 2025): This publication discusses the role of Community Health Workers (CHWs) and the importance of health information literacy for community empowerment.
"Exploring the Role of Libraries in Promoting Child Mental Health in Bangladesh: A Study on Some Selected Libraries" (August 2023): This research identifies the roles of libraries in promoting child mental health and discusses related topics like common disorders and promotional strategies.
"Exploring the factors affecting employees’ adoption of digital libraries in Bangladesh" (December 2024): This article, published in the International Journal of Information and Knowledge Studies, explores the factors that influence employees' adoption of digital libraries.
"Youth exposure to disinformation in social media platforms: The role of library and information professional" (December 2024): This study examines how young people experience disinformation and the role of librarians in helping them combat it by developing media and information literacy skills.
