Anosua Islam Aurthy is currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Information Studies at East West University. She completed her BSS in Information Studies and Library Management from East West University and her Professional Master’s in Information Science and Library Management from the University of Dhaka with strong academic achievement, earning multiple merit scholarships and graduating with distinction (Magna Cum Laude).
She has professional experience with UNESCO in the Communication and Information Sector, where she worked on Media and Information Literacy (MIL) initiatives as an Assistant Program Coordinator and Research Assistant. She has also completed internships at BANSDOC and the East West University Library.
Her research interests include information literacy, digital literacy, media and information literacy (MIL), AI and digital security. She has presented her research at international conferences such as i-IKM and remains actively engaged in academic and research activities.
Awarded multiple merit scholarships from East West University, including 100% tuition waiver for outstanding academic performance from Summer 2020 to Spring 2022, along with the Medha Lalon Fund Scholarship (Summer 2019 – Spring 2020).
Graduated with Magna Cum Laude from East West University in Spring 2022 in recognition of excellent academic performance.
Achieved a CGPA of 3.73 (out of 4.00) in Professional Master’s in Information Science and Library Management from University of Dhaka.
Achieved a CGPA of 3.83 (out of 4.00) in BSS in Information Studies and Library Management from East West University.
