Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized a workshop titled Workshop on “Attainment of the Program Learning Outcome (PLO) and Course Learning Outcome (CLO)” for the faculty members of the Department of Information Studies on 7^th March 2024 (Thursday) from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm at the Knowledge Classification Lab of East West University.

Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Additional Director, Quality Assurance, Institutional Quality Assurance, East West University facilitated the workshop as the resource person. Honorable Chairperson Dr. Dilara Begum and faculty members of the Department of Information Studies were present at the workshop.

The primary goal of the workshop was to discuss how the department might achieve CLOs and PLOs. The resource person checked the department's development about the OBE. The resource person answered the faculty members' queries on different issues of calculating CLOs and PLOs and gave his insightful comments. Furthermore, the resource person advised the faculty members to create a draft course file according to OBE. The esteemed resource person provided assurance to help in the overall process in near future as well. At the end of the session Dr. Dilara Begum thanked the resource person for his valuable time and guidance and handed over a souvenir from the department.
