The Department of Information Studies, East West University organized a welcoming program for newly admitted students (Spring semester 2024) on 19 February 2024 at CCC Lobby. The goal of this program is to introduce freshers to their department, teachers, seniors, alumni and fellow classmates of other sections. The entire event was organized by the department's senior students to express their love and affection for the newcomers. Dr. Dilara Begum, Associate Professor and Chairperson graced the event as the Chief Guest. Honorable faculty members, administrative staff, senior students, alumni, and freshers also participated in the event. A total of 140 participants participated in the event. The event includes singing, dancing, recitation, etc. The memories from this wonderful occasion might endure forever in the hearts of new students.
