On 19^th March, 2023, the Department of English, East West University welcomed the newly admitted students of Spring 2023 with poetry, songs, and dance. The cultural evening was graced by the presence of Dr. Farzana Akhter, Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. The session started with a welcome note from the chairperson of the department. The speech had been followed by a series of cultural presentations from the current students of the department. The performances explored a range of themes such as diversity, desolation and class exploitation. Ms. Shahnaz Ameer, Team Leader, Freshers Reception Organizing Committee, in her closing remarks, she thanked all the members of the organizing committee, performers, volunteers, and audience for making the program a success.
