Research project by Dr. Mumita Tanjeela & Mr. Masum Billah entitled “Understanding coping strategies of university students in Dhaka City during COVID 19: Through a social capital lens” received approval

This is an immense pleasure to inform you that a research project entitled “Understanding coping strategies of university students in Dhaka City during COVID 19: Through a social capital lens” received approval for grants from EWUCRT on April 3, 2021. Dr. Mumita Tanjeela, Assistant Professor & Chairperson, Mr. Masum Billah, Senior Lecturer, Department of Sociology, East West University, Bangladesh, and Dr. Shannon Rutherford, Senior Lecturer, School of Medicine, Griffith University, Australia will jointly investigate this project. 

Dr. Mumita Tanjeela will lead the project as Principal Investigator. Mr. Masum Billah and Dr. Shannon Rutherford will work as Co-investigators in this project. As the second wave transmission of COVID 19 is currently soaring in Bangladesh, the aforementioned study project will assist to produce new knowledge to perceive coping strategies at the tertiary level in Bangladesh during COVID 19 pandemic situation.
