Violence against Men
In an interview arranged by City FM 96 our faculty member Dr. Anisur Rahman Khan, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology, East West University, discussed the need of breaking the silence on male rights violence. He mentioned that owing to patriarchy men are usually placed in the dominant hierarchy, in consequence, when his rights are violated he often keeps silent fearing the stigma that may get tagged with his masculinity.
He suggested that we must break this silence or else it will cause a serious impact on the core social institution like family.
