Achievement Details

An Inter-University National Idea Competition 'IdeaQuakes' Powered by Lagvelki and inaugurated by Jagannath University IT Society was held through the online platform from 30 September, and by a tentative process, it ended with an online winning declaration on 31 October. Students from 36 individual universities participated in this competition. Among the 150 teams, only 3 teams secured the top-ranking positions.

Jagannath University IT Society collaborated with East West University Sociology Club as club partners in this competition. Two students allied with East West University Sociology Club, also students from the Department of Sociology, East West University, acquired the position of 1st Runner Up in this Idea Competition.

Both the students Adhora Afrin Biswas and Farah Imrana Karim shared their experiences in terms of this competition. Adhora said that "this type of idea competition is very important for students' personal skill development and competitiveness. Those prepare us for the upcoming future." 

Department of Sociology is highly honored by the achievement of its two students and looks forward to inspiring more students for joining extracurricular activities like this.
