Rumana Rahman, Senior Lecturer, Department of Information Studies, East West University, was invited as the Keynote Speaker and presented a paper titled “Transforming Academic Information Management with Integrated Library Management Software” at a seminar organized by the Bangladesh National Scientific and Technical Documentation Centre (BANSDOC) on 14 December 2025 at its auditorium in Dhaka. In her keynote address, she highlighted the transformative role of Integrated Library Management Software (ILMS) in modernizing academic libraries through automation of cataloguing, circulation, acquisition, and OPAC services, ensuring improved efficiency, interoperability, and enhanced user access. The session was chaired by Mr. Md. Shamim Khan, Director General of BANSDOC, and was attended by intern students of the 69th batch along with officers and staff members of the organization.
